Clubs & Activities
Key Club is an international service program for high school students. Our school, Alcar Academy has one of these awesome clubs. The club has carried out many projects that contribute to communities and persons in need. The Alcar Academy’s Key Club President is Shinaya Powell who is in the eighth grade. This club helps to share whatever we have with others who may not be as fortunate as we are. “We are very happy that we have this organization.”~ words from a fellow key clubber.
At Alcar Academy we strive for excellence in all areas. As such, we offer as a part of our extracurricular activities:
Our students are yearly participants in the JCDC Cultural Festival Competitions, taking home bronze, silver and gold medals on several occasions.
All work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy. Luckily, at Alcar Academy all our children are well rounded as we strive to achieve a well-balanced learning environment.
We offer several extracurricular sporting activities which include:
Track & Field.
Our 4H club here at Alcar Academy continues to make a concerted effort to "engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development."
We endeavour through our club to equip our students lifelong skills.
Additionally, our 4H club is a yearly participant in the Trees for Peace competition for which we were the Parish Companions in 2018.
